Those attracly terminaled indude Com Satyqeet Tripathy, General Secretary of ADCBC. Cum Tauttama Roy President of ASCBO, and four other active members of the union. Ther services were temuled with istediate effect, and dus were forctbry settled without any bilateral decms

This Vindictive and Shameless action has been carned out during the pondency of industrial disputes before the Central Industrial Tribunal and Labour Court in clear violation of Section 33 of the Indasitul Depules Act, 1947 The low sociclily prohibits changes in service conditions or punitive measures againal employees during adjudication without prior Tribunal approval. By darespecting this legal safeguard Standard Chartered Bank has displayed total litrend of jelicial authority is nothing but union busting and victimization, intended to säence officers who have been courageously raning ther voice against docannation, harassment, and explotalion within the Bank

ASCBO, a registered trade union under the Trade Union Act, 1920 and affiliated to ABOC, has consistently exposed the discriminatory and explotative practices prevailing in SCB The union has raised saves such as denial of Nt Act holidays to officers while clerical staff enyny than, severe pay dispanty where officers are ohen paid less than chencal staff, and the misuse of redundancy and Performance Improvement Plan policies in boh d attray damessa Ofices have ato faced extended working hours, absence of worke balance, and extreme pressure that undermines their wellbeing Women officers, in particular, have been subjected to misbehavior and harassment at the hands of sener management to suppress the resistance, the management has suspended ASCBCs oficialsocial media handles, attempting to gag the voice of desent

The latest terminations are not at solared development but part of a continuing pattern of selective victimization by SCB. In 2002. Com Indranil Bhattacharyya, a Teller with 17 years of service, was terminated under the pretext of redundancy Withas noolts, the Bank recruled tree new people in the same role, exposing the falsehood of the clam Agan in 2024, Com Sanjb Dey wan targeted with a redundancy notice. The present action of lominating union leaders in 2025 is a further extension of this systematic mouse of mdundancy provisions to selectively target employees and elminate organized resistanos

AIBOC (WBSU) holds that these terminations are ilegal, mala fide and vindictive AIBOC West Bengal State Committee demands the immediate reinstatement of all six terminaled leaders and members of ASCBO It also call upon Standard Chartered Bank to withdraw ans-union and anb-officer practices and to recognes ASCBO as the legitimate representative body of its officers. This attack on ASCBO is not merely an assault on one union, it is a direct challenge to the entire trade union movement in private and foreign banks. If such draconian mesures are left unattended, they will encourage other multinational corporations to trample upon the hard won rights of Indian workers. AIBOC West Bengal State Committee confirms its solidarity with ASCBO and cautions Standard Chartered Bank management that if they will not take suitable measures for reinstaèng six teminated employees then it will be resisted with the full might of the organized banking haternity under the Bannor of AIBOC (WBSU) AIBOC (WBSU) will organise a massive demonstralion programme in front of Standard Chartered Bank, Kolkata on 22.09.2025 at 5.30 pm to show our solidanty and express our grievances against the highhandedness of Standard Chartered Bank management The Leaders of AIBOC (WBSU) will participate in the demonstration A Press Moet wil also organize on 22th sep.at Bank of India Officers' Association, Bowbazar, Kolkata
