Calcutta Sports Journalists Club Supports Female Football Development in Sandeshkhali Kanmari Academy

The Calcutta Sports Journalists Club (CSJC) has taken an innovative step to support the development of football in Sandeshkhali Kanmari Social Care Football Academy, North 24 Parganas, under the guidance of the "Banyan Tree" Group. The academy is dedicated to promoting female football and aims to bring out talented players from the area.

On Saturday, a women's friendly football match was held at the academy ground and was attended by several prominent personalities, including Banyan Tree Group head and academy president Prabir Roy Chowdhury, three footballers from Emami East Bengal Sauvik Chakraborty, Shubham Sen, Tuhin Das, local MLA Sukumar Mahato, academy secretary Debraj Mahato, and CSJC sports journalists, including its President Suven Raha.



CSJC has pledged its support to the academy and has assured to always stand by it in the future. This initiative is a step towards encouraging the growth of football in the region and providing equal opportunities for female players.
