The Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA), the apex association of the Indian electrical equipment manufacturing industry today hosted a press conference at The Westin Kolkata for the announcement of 15th edition of ELECRAMA yesterday.
ELECRAMA, the largest stand-alone showcase of the Indian Electrical and Allied Electronics Industry by IEEMA is slated to commence from February 18th to 22nd, 2023 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. IEEMA and its members will work together with the Government of India to achieve a 100-year partnership of electrifying, digitalizing, and greening India.
Mr Devesh Goel, Chairman, IEEMA Eastern Region, opined, “The 15th edition of ELECRAMA will focus mainly on displaying innovation and future technologies in a variety of fields. The exhibition will bring a plethora of opportunities in Innovation & Future Technologies, Sustainability through Energy Conservation, New Business Opportunities and Supply Chains, Start-up Ecosystem and many more. The theme of ELECRAMA 2023 is “Reimagine Energy - For Sustainable Future” and will be heavily based in showcasing innovation and future technologies in many areas including Storage, Green Hydrogen, Fuel Cells, AI, and IoT. This edition will also focus on sustainability through Energy Conservation, Carbon Net Zero, and Smart Consumption.
Mr Siddharth Bhutoria, Chairman, RBSM at ELECRAMA 2023 said, “IEEMA is organizing ChangeXchange 2023 - The 6th Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) at ELECRAMA-2023.Under RBSM, 700 foreign buyers from countries in Africa, ASEAN, CIS, SAARC, Middle East, Europe, North East Asia and North America are visiting ELECRAMA-2023 and have one-to-one (B2B) meetings with Indian Exhibitors, at Hall 8 (Level 2) of India Expo Mart Ltd., Greater NOIDA, Delhi-NCR. This is an excellent forum for the exhibitors to boost their exports and have technological and business tie ups. Exhibitors can pre-book their meeting slots. There is no participation fee. While the Domestic Buyer Seller Meet is a platform where Indian and foreign manufacturers of electrical equipment can meet major buyers from Transmission, Distribution and Generation companies, as well as non-Utility players from Railways, Defence, Smart Cities, large PSUs, e-mobility segments to outline their procurement requirements.”
Mr Parag Saraf, Vice Chairman, IEEMA Eastern Region “While the focus for ELECRAMA this time is New energies and Sustainability, we are also launching the IEEMA Start-up Challenge and creating a platform for some of the most promising ones to showcase their innovations at ELECRAMA 2023. While only the top 10-12 will get a chance to showcase at ELECRAMA, we will enable you to have a look at all the participating ones too. We need to embrace this start-up ecosystem and create a mechanism to allow them to plug into our industry/companies in a seamless manner. Think of them as our extended R&D and product development arm, and engage with them.”
The other concurrent events include, the third edition of e-TechNxt, which aims to redefine the business transformation trajectory of the Indian Electrical & Allied Electronics industry.
Mr RK Shah, Chairman, IEEMA Contracts Committee said, “Today, e-TechNxt has become a leading platform for the Industry, Policymakers and Stakeholders that promotes forward-looking actions in New Energies such as EV and Storage, Green Hydrogen, Fuel cells, Nuclear etc. Sessions on New Business opportunities for Electrical Industry for Net Zero & Sustainability in Building and Industries; Capital Raise: focusing on Capital requirements for the Energy Transition”.
