Aradeep Chatterjee, an internationally prominent figure in the field of cancer alternative therapies and an international corresponding member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), was once insinuated to be a vicious deceiver by a large section of the mainstream media, based on allegations levied by the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate and the Enforcement Directorate (ED). He has since been honourably exonerated from all charges by the Competent Court of Law of our land. His father, Dr. Ashim Kumar Chatterjee, a well-respected physician in the field of homoeopathy who was made a co-accused in all the connected criminal cases, was also honourably exonerated from all cases.
Aradeep's run-in with law enforcement agencies began on June 29, 2017, when, first, a suo moto case and thereafter two more FIRs were lodged against him by the Laketown Police Station, and he was arrested on the accusation that he had been unlawfully earning money by treating cancer patients and was booked under various stringent charges. The police also arrested his father, Dr. Ashim Kumar Chatterjee, on August 23, 2017, for allegedly extending unlawful assistance to Aradeep Chatterjee. Furthermore, the Enforcement Directorate (ED), based on the charge sheets of the police cases, lodged an ECIR on November 13, 2017. The ED attached all the savings and properties of Aradeep Chatterjee and eventually filed a prosecution complaint in November 2019 before the Learned Special ED Court of Bichar Bhawan, Kolkata, under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
The advocates of Aradeep Chatterjee, say, "All the charges that were levied on Aradeep Chatterjee and his father, Ashim Kumar Chatterjee, by the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) were false, concocted, motivated, groundless and preposterous. That's why, after prolonged and rigorous judicial trials, they were both honourably acquitted from all the police cases by the Learned Fast Track-I Court of Barasat, West Bengal. Most importantly, they have also been honourably discharged from the money laundering case by the Learned Special ED Court of Bichar Bhawan, Kolkata."
"The relevant orders of acquittal and discharge have attained finality as both the State and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) have accepted the concerned orders. Consequently, the savings of Aradeep Chatterjee, which had been attached by the Enforcement Directorate and the police as proceeds of crime, were released and returned to him along with the accrued interest.” Aradeep's advocates added.
Aradeep Chatterjee says, "Despite being falsely accused, I kept my full faith in our judiciary. My vindication establishes that I obeyed all the laws of our land. It also sets me free to raise my voice in favour of an alternative cancer healing approach, Psorinum Therapy, which has shrunk cancerous tumours and prolonged the survival span of numerous cancer patients. This therapy can play a serious role in managing the unique cancer burdens of our country because it is cost-effective, does not have any notable side effects, and can be effective in treating certain types of cancer diagnosed at an advanced stage (i.e., Stage IV). Inoperable pancreatic, liver, and gallbladder cancers are examples of cancers where mainstream cancer treatments often fail to respond satisfactorily, but the psorinum protocol may work wonders. I will continue to devote my full effort towards my goal to integrate Psorinum Therapy into the mainstream of oncology treatments.

I encountered a very serious financial crisis, because my entire savings and properties were attached by the investigating agencies. But I refused to accept defeat in the face of all such insurmountable difficulties. I stood up for myself and reframed my mind to see those extreme adversities as challenges to overcome, and tirelessly contested before the Competent Courts to prove my innocence. My vindication proves that my country has a very strong and progressive constitution which safeguards our rights and never denies justice," Aradeep Chatterjee stated.
